Magma in Guggenheim Bilbao

Magma will be screened at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao as a 
part of Cinedans Touring programme during Act Festival. The festival 
and the screenings run from 31 May to 3 June.

Memotekið + Barbara í Gongini

Memotekið will be screened as a part of Barbara í Gongini's fashion 

show at Dreft Fashion Week Zagreb, held 10-12 of May. 

Barbara í Gongini, orginally from the Faroe Islands, is an extremely 

talented avant garde fashion designer currently based in Copenhagen.

Dreft Fashion Week Zagreb is the biggest, oldest and most important international fashion event in Croatia, which connects cultures of 

different countries through fashion expression of various international 

and local designers.

Magma in Hong Kong

Magma will be screened as a part of Experimental Film and Video Art programme from Papay Gyro Nights Art Festival in Hong Kong on 6th 

of May. The Festival, based in Orkney, is a celebration of ancient

traditions, folklore and landscape: past and present of the island, 

through new experimental developments in film, video art, music and 

architecture.

Memotekið at Intl. Dance Festival

Memotekið is a part of Light Fantastic, a season of dance films curated 
by Flatpack Film Festival for Intl. Dance Festival in Birmingham. 
This event, Fever Chart, consists of a selection of experimental and 
documentary shorts that explores dance beyond the stage in all of its 
variety - from the clifftops of the Faroe Islands to the New York streets. 

The screening will be held at MAC on 6th of May at 14:00.

Magma wins Best Experimental

Magma has been awarded Best Experimental Video at Black&White
Film Festival in Portugal. Four films were competing in this category
and the winner was chosen by an international jury. We are very
honored to receive this award.

Magma is amongst the four shortlisted films in the category for Best 
Experimental at Black&White Film Festival, held 18 - 21st of April in 
Porto, Portugal.
